Having an amazing/professional officiant was extremely important to me as I wanted my ceremony to be intimate and well written. From our first meeting with Kezia I knew she was the one! Kezia has many years of experience and knows the "ins and outs" of the marriage process and ceremony processes. She helped me every step of the way and was very responsive via email and text. She created multiple ceremony drafts for me in order to make sure our ceremony was perfect for our big day. Kezia has so many prompts and helpful tricks and tips that she provided to me when I was stuck on what to add in my ceremony, what readings to have my siblings do, and how to organize my vows. She also sent multiple reminders of when my husband and I had to go get our marriage license! When it came to our big day she was at our venue hours before the event started and came in fully prepared and ready to go. We had a small issue arise in our venue, smack dab in the middle of our ceremony... we unexpectedly lost power! Kezia did not skip a beat!! She continued on as if nothing happened and assured myself and my guests that there was no issue at all and everything can continue without microphones! She eased my anxiety while I stood panicked in front of all my guests. She carried on with extreme professionalism, some guests did not even realize the power went out, that is how smooth she kept our ceremony going. Our ceremony was perfection and better than I ever imagined. We are receiving so many compliments from our guests on how amazing Kezia was and how beautifully structured and executed our ceremony was. It was the ceremony of my dreams, even with the short power outage! Kezia is amazing and is top of the line! We will forever be grateful to her for making our day so magical!

We hit it off with her from the beginning, and were re-assured every step of the way that we made the right decision - she honestly took a lot of the pressure off since we knew she was on top of timelines for getting the ceremony in order. She created such a unique and specialized ceremony for us - better than imagined. She sends out a questionnaire ahead of time to get to know the couple and their story, and to help draft the final ceremony script. Filling out the questionnaire served as a really special exercise for my husband and I since it allowed us to reflect on our relationship, ourselves as individuals, and what we both want for our shared future. Honestly, it was some of the best unintentional self guided pre-marriage counseling we could have gotten! All of Kezia’s guidance along the way, and her story telling technique, and the exhaustive collection of wedding readings to choose from, resulted in the most beautiful ceremony, highlighting who my husband and I are as a couple. Overwhelmingly, our guests remarked that it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended, and loved how we incorporated science, humanism, and humor into the telling of our love story. Kezia’s very calm demeanor helped us stay in the moment as we were preparing for the big day but especially during the ceremony itself. She also did a fabulous job with the rehearsal so the whole wedding party knew where to be when and what was going to happen. One thing that we’ll always remember is during the rehearsal, instead of reading through the script (and instead of saying something like “blah, blah, blah” as a placeholder), she instead said “love, love, love, love & science, science, science & more love”. We thought it was cute at the time, but then it took on a life of its own. Right before the ceremony, as a few of us started to get a little anxious, one of the bridesmaids yelled out “love, love, love, love”, which we all repeated in unison as our mantra. It calmed the nerves, and kept the happy tears at bay. Thank you so much Kezia for making our wedding ceremony so special! Highly recommend choosing to work with Kezia, it will be the best wedding planning decision you make!

know what to expect when it came to planning the ceremony - but we did know we wanted it to have a personal touch. Kezia did just that - taking stories that went back to the beginning of our relationship and weaving them in along the way in a meaningful and sometimes funny way. She went above and beyond by even wearing a shawl that matched our color scheme. We have received infinite compliments from guests about how intimate and personal she made the ceremony. Kezia is an amazing person and celebrant and my husband and I couldn't be happier to have worked with her!
